The initial, 1-on-1 session is 1 hour long. You get an additional *Eleven* 1-on-1, 30-minute sessions spread over the 6-month period, and get to join the exclusive Lifestyle Pill Community™ to also receive support from like-minded individuals on the same journey as you. Furthermore, you will be able to participate in the *two* group sessions every single week, take advantage of the *unlimited* chat support, and can expect responses within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
You can choose to work with me for longer than 6 months. The 6 months are a minimum to get meaningful results, create solid habits, and establish a sustainable, new way of life (after all, there are no quick fixes).
Our 1-on-1 and group sessions are not merely about “checking-in”. They are about overcoming barriers, creating solutions, self-discovery, self-growth, education, refinement, and the like.
I devote a significant amount of effort and time to help you learn, plan, do, refine, achieve and become the master of your lifestyle.
We will formulate an individualized Wellness Plan (in the initial, 1-on-1 session) consisting of your motivators/vision, values, strengths, long-term goals, short-term goals, and daily actions that will be refined overtime as you progress.
All 1-on-1 and Group sessions are conducted via video calls.
Objective Outcomes
Committed action takers who have worked with me throughout my career typically achieve the following results in 6 months or less. Of note, the objective health outcomes below (for weight loss / fat loss & Hba1c / A1c values) greatly exceed those found in the dietitian scientific literature.
– 2 to 3 lb of weight loss per week, which typically results in at least 24 to 72 lb of weight loss in 6 months
– Decrease Hemoglobin A1c by 2 to 4% within 2 to 3 months
– Decrease Hemoglobin A1c by 3 to 6% within 4 to 6 months
– Decrease fasting blood sugars by 30 to 80% in 3 to 6 weeks
– Decrease fasting blood sugars to less than 100 mg/dL (normalized) within 2 to 6 months
– 25 to 50% diabetes medication reduction in 1 to 2 months
– 60 to 100% total medication reduction in 3 to 6 months (diabetes, cholesterol, and blood pressure medications)
– Decrease total cholesterol by 40 to 90+ mg/dL within 6 months.
– Decrease LDL “bad” cholesterol by 35 to 70+ mg/dL within 6 months.
– Decrease triglycerides by 40 to 100+ mg/dL within 6 months.
– Decrease systolic blood pressure by 20 to 40 mm Hg within 6 months.
– Decrease diastolic blood pressure by 10 mm Hg within 6 months.

Scope of Practice
As a registered dietitian nutritionist (RD/RDN), I am legally able to practice Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) under certain conditions (read more below). I can help you with MNT and in a professional capacity if I am licensed in your state or if your state doesn’t require licensure AND, if and only if, you and I sign a legal Agreement to work together.
Practicing MNT means I am able to assess your current diet and prescribe the appropriate nutrition intervention(s) for the treatment of diagnosed medical conditions such as type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, fatty liver, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and obesity. As a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), I have additional expertise to help you manage your type 2 diabetes. As a National Strength And Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT), I have the expertise to help you with your physical fitness.
I am able to practice MNT in the states I am currently licensed in, which are Oregon (OR), Washington (WA), Idaho (ID), Nevada (NV) and in states that do not require licensure, which are Arizona (AZ), California (CA)**, Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT), Hawaii (HI), Indiana (IN), Massachusetts (MA), Michigan (MI), New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY), Oklahoma (OK), Pennsylvania (PA), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), Vermont (VT), Wisconsin (WI), and West Virginia (WV).
If your state is not on the list, please inform me so that I may acquire licensure to practice Medical Nutrition Therapy in your state. You and I cannot work together until I obtain licensure in your state. The states in which I cannot currently practice MNT are Alabama (AL), Alaska (AK), Arkansas (AR), Delaware (DE), District of Columbia (DC), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Iowa (IA), Kansas (KS), Kentucky (KY), Louisiana (LA), Maine (ME), Maryland (MD), Minnesota (MN), Mississippi (MS), Missouri (MO), Montana (MT), Nebraska (NE), New Hampshire (NH), New Mexico (NM), North Carolina (NC), North Dakota (ND), Ohio (OH), Rhode Island (RI), South Carolina (SC), South Dakota (SD), Tennessee (TN), Utah (UT), and Wyoming (WY).
**In order to practice Medical Nutrition Therapy in Alabama (AL), California (CA), and Nebraska (NE), a referral from your Primary Doctor (Primary Care Provider) is required.
